Red, inflamed, bleeding gums are rarely just a gum problem. Inflammation in the mouth is often connected to inflammation elsewhere, and it can show up in your bloodwork before anyone looks at your teeth.
I look at the whole mouth as an ecosystem: the foundation of each tooth, hidden infection, the gums, the airway. When I see signs of something bigger, I work with your physician and other practitioners. I care for the mouth so the rest of the body has a better chance to heal.

I’m Dr. Teplitsky. Most patients call me Dr. T. I’ve spent my career connecting the mouth to the rest of the body.
I’ve practiced dentistry since 2009. I owned and led Wrigleyville Dental for twelve years, and I still see patients there. I also teach dental teams through Whole Health Dental Academy. My training spans biological and biomimetic dentistry, safe mercury removal, airway and sleep, and naturopathic medicine, and I bring all of it to one question: what does this mouth need so the whole person can be well?
